SPECIAL PROGRAM:
Ryan White - Part B
Eligible Ryan White Part B patients can become a
member of AccessHealth and receive significantly reduced fees
from our
network of providers. Many of these discounted fees will be
paid from a special Patient Care Fund set aside just for that
purpose. Family members and care takers who are not medically
insured can also be members of the program having access to
significant savings.
-
AccessHealth
is a
non-profit program addressing the growing need for healthcare of
eligible individuals and families living in Southern Nevada.
The program has developed a
horizontal
network of
primary care doctors, specialists, laboratories, diagnostic
clinics, hospitals and pharmacies who offer greatly reduced fees
to our members. There is no cost for membership.
-
Ryan White Part B Patients
can become
a member of AccessHealth. It’s simple. Your successful
eligibility status through the AFAN Program automatically
qualifies you! When you visit with your AFAN Care Coordinator,
ask to be referred to the AccessHealth program. A special
PATIENT CARE FUND will assist you in paying the discounted fees
for medical services — see details below.
-
FAMILIES OF
Ryan White Part B Patients ALREADY QUALIFY TO BE ACCESSHEALTH
MEMBERS.
Immediate family members who are uninsured can
join AccessHealth and receive the benefits without meeting any
eligibility requirements. This means, if they have no
insurance, they will receive a significant discount for medical
services through the network's generous providers. Contact
us for details.
Keeping it
simple.
If you are qualified as a Ryan White Part B Patient here’s five
simple steps:
-
Contact
your AFAN Coordinator and request to be referred to the
AccessHealth Program for Membership.
-
For care
needed by a specialist, laboratory, or for diagnostic
testing—consult with your primary care doctor who will send
a referral request to AccessHealth. Our Referral Specialist
will contact you and arrange your appointment and payment
for the qualified services from the special Patient Care
Fund.
-
No
referral is necessary for eyewear, dental services,
mammograms or pregnancy testing. Once you are a member,
simply contact AccessHealth to assist you with coordination
of care in these areas.
-
Keep your
appointment! Not doing so can jeopardize your membership
and access to the special Patient Care Fund. Upon
enrollment, our Referral Specialist will discuss this and
other participation requirements.
-
Stay in
close communication with your Referral Specialist who will
assist you in navigating your way to an improved quality of
life and healthcare while living with HIV/AIDS.
Expanding care.

AccessHealth is a referral
program helping to connect uninsured and underserved residents
of Southern Nevada to a network of caring and generous providers
to affordable care. AccessHealth is NOT insurance.
There are no "claims" or "co-payments." The Special
Patient Care Fund will assist the Ryan White Part B patients
only. In order to serve as many as possible with these
funds, there are limitations on how much each patient can be
assisted.
