Medicaid
eligibility and referrals
It is our goal to ensure that your child is getting
the best coverage available. As part of the eligibility
process, we will screen your application for Medicaid
eligibility. If it appears that your child is eligible for
Medicaid, the application will be forwarded to the nearest
Welfare District Office. Your child can be provisionally
enrolled in Nevada Check Up while the Medicaid application is
being determined. You must complete the process if it
appears your child is eligible for Medicaid in order not to be
denied for the Nevada Check Up.
