    Health care services will be provided primarily by health maintenance organizations.  Listed is only a highlight of some of the health services covered under Nevada Check Up:

Families living in Clark County and the Reno/Sparks area of Washoe County will receive a member Handbook from the health care plan explaining benefits once enrolled.  

Health care services generally will be subject to the rules of the health care plan which require prior authorization of services except for visits to the child's primary care physician, well baby/well child care, immunizations and emergency services. Certain services that are outside the managed care contract, including dental care, can be obtained from any Nevada Check Up provider. For families living outside of Clark County or the Reno/Sparks area of Washoe County, services can be obtained from any Nevada Check Up provider.
