| Becoming a client of the
Great Basin HealthNet Program
does not have a cost to those who find
themselves or their family members without medical insurance.
The program is a
non-profit service provided by health care organizations,
government agencies and the community. Great Basin
HealthNet is
NOT an insurance. We coordinate your care with our
network of providers so that you are able to get quality care at
a reduced cost. You pay Great Basin HealthNet nothing for
these services, BUT you must pay the provider for the reduced
fees at the time of your appointment.

How It Works:
Affordable Quality Care
Once you are registered with
Great Basin HealthNet
you will be contacted by one of our team to choose a primary care home - and
be
on the road to leading a healthier life.
You will receive a "Welcome Kit"
and an identification card. Just call the Great Basin
HealthNet
office and we will make your appointments as needed. You will know
the amount that you will be expected to pay to the provider at
the time of your visit. There are no surprises!
If
further care is needed, our primary care physician will
refer you to specialty care, diagnostic tests, out patient
services, hospitalizations, surgeries - what ever is need to be
healthy. The Great Basin HealthNet staff will assist in coordinating
your appointments as needed so that you continue to save money
on your medical fees through the program.
