A Walk to Remember . . .
why take the walk?
Wisdom
from the past can inform the present and the
future. Why take the walk?
Because the timeline is a pathway through our history - a history of challenge
and overcoming challenge - of barriers and navigating barriers – of
successes and celebrations. This can be an opportunity to remind ourselves
this is just a drought in the history of droughts.
We invite and honor key leaders in our State's past, our "healthcare pioneers" to come share with us their experience in walking through our previous droughts in access to healthcare. We will all explore together ~
-
What have we done in the
past?
-
How did we survive the
droughts?
-
What has been the cost when the seeds were
eaten?
-
How did we prosper when we preserved them?
-
How did we recognize the
seeds?
-
What is the seed and what
is the chaff?
Answers to these and other
questions will be recorded, analyzed and published
as a reference tool for us all as we discover how lessons from previous droughts
might teach us how to preserve the seeds for the time the rain comes back - and
the first - is to know it will come back.
Uniquely peaceful and refreshing setting:
We will be meeting at the
Zephyr Point Conference Center at beautiful Lake Tahoe.
